It’s wet outside. And a bit brrr. The weather forecast says it’s due to improve later, so we can get back to working on the garden.
Meanwhile, we’re all sorted for the morning. A good book, a couple of comfy sofas, and plenty of this.

Another busy morning on Anderby Creek beach
Cup of tea, PJs, wellies, beach. There is no better start to the day.
Time from lodge to beach? 100 seconds max, in a dozy stumble.
(Tip: put the sausages in the oven first and come back to sausage butties).

Last picture of the picture window, taken on a very bracing, sunny February Sunday. Any time now, the window will be replaced with a wall of glass – with doors opening onto the deck overlooking the lake.

Just fitted WiFi plugs at Seaside Lodge. Heat, water and light all controlled from an app. Big thumbs up to arriving at a warm and cosy lodge, even in the depths of winter. And lashings of hot water for an instant deep bath.
